RINGER BOX: A unknown oak-cased ringer box. For use as a ringer bell only. As an option a W.E. 101A induction coil can be installed. I will have to remove two binding post on bottom of case (not seen in photo). Cost - Inquire for that option. Has two nickel bells in above average condition. Size of cabinet case is 5 1/2W x 7 7/8H x 4 7/8" deep.

click to enlarge WESTERN ELECTRIC 410A 2-LINES A Western Electric two line phone, believed to be a model 410A. Has the same looks as a W.E. 302 but has a left front mounted switch for line transfer. The phone case is plastic so it will have the normal scuffs and scratches (mostly on the back rear). Phone has been tested for one line and is wired to a modular cord. Ready to plug in and use on a land line phone circuit only.

click to enlarge UNKNOWN PHONE: A round base phone (perhaps Automatic Electric?) that is in working condition. Someone has added a network in the base to make it functional. It has no dial, receive and talk only. Base was repainted (not by me) and new felt added to base. An external bell may be added if desired. Handset is the old spit-cup type and wired to a black cloth cord. Ready to plug in and use.

Requires two wires to be tied into phone line or use a modular cord connected to a modular jack. Meant to be hung on a wall. Tested for operation.

EARLY ANNUNCIATOR: An annuciator box made by ELECTRIC SUPPLY Co. of Youngstown, Ohio. Has 6 indictors for servant ringer use. This item has been completely restored. It is sold for decorator useage only (old parts still inside for the purist that may want to get it working). Size is 6 3/4" wide, 13 3/8" high and 3 3/8" deep. photo - another view

click to enlarge STROMBERG-CARLSON SUBSET #1131: A S-C subset box with a W.E. 101A induction coil added. Bell is 1K ohm with bias spring. Requires a 4-conductor cord form subset to phone. Wiring knowledge of phone circuits recommended. Comes with a basic phone circuit. Photo shows box laying on its side. Two bells mount vertical on top.

AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC EXTINSICORD: This is a new-old-stock A.E. Extensicord of two foot length, will stretch to almost 4 feet. Used on A.E. Model 40 phones and a few other models. Looks striking when used on a Model 40 with nickel handset bands and nickel finger wheel.

WESTERN ELECTRIC SPACE SAVERS: Four Western Electric Space Savers of the non-dial type. All four in unrestored, as found, condition. They need a ringer box for proper operation but simple wiring of receiver and transmitter in series works fairly well. Some with G1 or F1 handsets. Do not have mounting brackets, easy to make your own "L" bracket.

STROMBERG-CARLSON SPACE SAVERS: Similiar to above W.E. space savers, these are made by Stromberg Carlson, Type TW-31. Both are non-dial types, come with mounting brackets. Sold unrestored as found.

Will work with any old phone requiring a subset, The small size is great for a W.E. space saver type phone or even W.E. 101/202's. Requires a four (4) conductor cord from subset to the phone as well as a modular cable from subset box to wall jack.. Wiring knowledge required, comes with a basic wiring diagram. For use on land-line phone circuits only. Size is 5 1/2 wide, 6 1/2 deep and 2 5/8 inches high. Have 3 in stock.

This is a working phone, the bottom wood portion is stricly for looks and is non-functionable. The phone is much better looking then photo shows. The wood base has been completely refinished.Really a nice looking piece for use in a period style office. The phone is black bakelite, has a new curly cord, handset is the old spit-cup type. Wired and ready to plug into a modular outlet (land based phone lines only.) Note: phone is permanently attached to wood intercom base, not moveable.

click to enlarge STROMBERG CARLSON SPACE SAVER: An old Stromberg Carlson space saver phone from the 1940/50's, I think it is a model #1232. Metal case is in very good original condition. Receiver is plastic and has some scuffs and other small imperfections. This phone has an internal induction coil to make it sound correctly, however this is no bell inside. If desired, there are about 4 types of external ringers listed on this web site. This phone is wired to a 7 foot modular cord and ready to use. Note: Original S-C rotary dial was bad so I put in a more reliable Western Electric type #5 dial. Comes with a S-C mounting bracket, not shown in photo.

click to enlarge SUBSET CONVERSION: A ringer box converted into a subset by the addition of a Western Electric 101A induction coil and two capacitors. Size is 6 1/4" wide, 6 7/8" deep and 5 3/8" high. The Western Electric decal was added sometime in the past as it is a Northern Electric type N43-AB box. Has two black painted brass bells. Wood box looks like Maple(?) and has NOT been refinished. It is still in good++++ condition. You can use this subset with just about any telephone, you will need a 4-conductor cable from phone to subset box and knowledge to wire it to your phone, basic diagram provided

click to enlarge A.E. SCISSORS GATE: A Automatic Electric (?) scissors gate for use with a phone such as an A.E. 40 or a W.E 302 type cradle phone. I do not have the wall bracket, you can make your own by using a 1/2" diameter steel rod and clamping it to a wall. In very good condition.

Receiver cord not in the best shape.
