Note 3: Some cities have a remote area surcharge of $2.50 added to rates.
Note 4: UPS rates include insurance for the first $100.00
Note 5: Do not ask us what the shipping weight is, we do not know until items are mailed,
estimate charges, any shipping charge overage is refunded.

Note 6: UPS rates continue to climb so ever high, we find the U.S. Post Office
offers the best rates using their Priority Mail service - see below.
Large size boxes and/or orders will still have to be shipped by UPS in most cases.

USPS Rates: January 1st, 2011
POST OFFICE - PRIORITY MAIL RATES 2011:

USPS Priority Mail rates for UNDER 1 pound can
be shipped for $5.10 to $5.95 depending upon your ZIp Code.
Insurance or tracking is optional.
Tracking is $0.70, Insurance depends upon amount of coverage wanted.

Rates for 1.00 to 1.99 pounds are in the $5.20 to $10.20
range depending upon state (West Coast highest).

Rates for 2.00 to 2.99 pounds are in the $5.95 to $13.20
range depending upon state (West Coast highest).

Rates for 3.00 to 3.99 pounds are in the $6.70 to $15.90
range depending upon state (West Coast highest).

NOTE: Jan. 2011 - USPS shipping with FLAT RATE BOXES:
To any USA address for $10.95. Only restriction is that items will fit in the
box. Good choice for shipping heavy items or transformers..

Box size is about 11 wide x 7 deep x 5 3/4 inches high.

Note: 2011, USPS added an even larger size flat rate box
than the one listed above, about 12 x 12 x 5 3/4 for $14.95

Looking at the Priority Rates above it can be seen that for
west of the Missisippi River customers the Flat Rate Box rate
of $10.95 is the best deal, assuming the items ordered fit the above listed
size box for the USPS Flat Rate Prioity Box limits.
